I read smut.

Shitloads of smut.

A Boy and His Dragon (Being - R. Cooper Apparently dragons really are unbearably sexy. Apparently they're also bits of camp deliciousness and prone to repetitively alluding to things with stoner amounts of patience even when it looks like it's all a lost cause. Do you know what though, I am totally on board with that. The utterly gorgeous UST that is the result is well worth it.

Having said that, this is the third book I've read of this author's, and while I think their writing is bloody fabulous, the 'oblivious love interest' trope-ing is getting a bit overused. I long for a book from them that has two characters who are fully aware of each other and each other's feelings and fuck each other raw and yet still manage to have lots of other issues, none of which have anything to do with one of them being the ingenue and the other pining away from seemingly unrequited love. Because I think this author could nail that book.
